Rites of Passage

If we want to live as "spiritual adults", we need to celebrate the major transitions in our lives. As Wala, a female shaman and priestess, Ulrike offers Rites of Passage for women only. Please contact us, if you would like to create your own personal celebration.

New Moon Women Circle

The New Moon Women Circle is a monthly gathering of women in the Upper Fraser Valley, who meet in sacred circle on or near each New Moon to share the mysteries of the Divine Feminine and to recover and reclaim our own sacredness.

In the old days, when our Ancestors were still living in harmony with All That Is, the women cycled together with the Moon and retreated from their mundane tasks into a sacred space apart from the rest of the tribe to share the Female Mysteries. This sacred time and space no longer exist in our modern societies and many women feel that they have lost their connection with the Divine Feminine and with Spirit. In order to reclaim that connection we need to return to that Sacred Space, relearn these mysteries, recreate the female rites of passage, and remember the ancient feminine rituals of thanksgiving, forgiveness, and surrender.

Ten Teachings to Live By

  1. The Earth is our Mother, care for her.
  2. Honor your Ancestors through your actions.
  3. Open your heart and soul to the Great Spirit.
  4. All life is sacred; treat all beings with respect.
  5. Take from the Earth what is needed and nothing more.
  6. Put the good of all before your own interests.
  7. Give constant thanks for each new day.
  8. Speak the truth; but only of good in others.
  9. Follow the rhythms of nature; rise and retire with the sun.
  10. Enjoy life's journey, but leave no tracks.
